Senior Electronic Engineer – Team Leader    

Our client is extending their Research and development department as a result of several new account wins. The division is the largest department of its kind in the industry in Europe and boasts over 50 years experience in product development for man – machines and Vision Systems. In the R&D Centre in Dublin more than 80 R&D engineers and technicians are involved in the design and manufacturing of different types of machines and vision systems.

Job description:

The position covers the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Definition of electronic hardware architecture, generation of requirements and  Test Specifications.
• Design of analog (filter, power supply) and digital circuits (DSP, Microcontroller, Bus Interfaces).
• Compliance of the electronic design with EMC and environmental requirements.
• Responsibility for the signal processor board from the concept phase to the production launch.

Experience:

Our ideal candidate should have the following profile:

• 10 years of professional experience in electronic design for machine equipment  and management of multi-discipline teams within the industry.
• Knowhow on key electronic components and their suppliers, design methodology (Design FMEA, Design Justification, Reviews) and tools (Cadence, Mentor, pSpice).
• Professional experience in compliant design and and electronic circuit test.

Education level: Engineering degree in Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering etc.
