Senior Property Underwriting Consultant

Fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced Commercial Property Underwriter to join Ireland’s leading insurance company in a senior consultancy and high-status capacity. This role will be based in Cavan office and will involve travel to Dublin.

Package on offer: Salary is completely negotiable but in the region of €70-100k plus benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop and maintain underwriting processes.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of Commercial Lines
• Ensure adherence to underwriting standards.
• Mentor large team of experienced underwriters
• Technical point of reference for all underwriters
• Perform underwriting performance analysis of Commercial Lines
• Contribute to development of policy wordings and new products
• Provide underwriting input to complex claims
  

Essential Requirements:

• You will have 10+ years experience and a proven technical background within commercial property underwriting
• ACII qualification
• Computer literacy

Desirable Requirements:

• FCII qualification
• Experience as a Chief Commercial Underwriter
• Technical property underwriting knowledge
