An expanding, innovative Irish renewable energy business with a global reach requires a Head of Legal.

Since its inception within the last 5 years, this organisation has had great success in the areas of technology development, customer development, finance, and recruitment. Today the business has customers on both sides of the Atlantic and can boast supply partnerships with major national and international utilities and renewable developers.

In realising their growth plans the organisation will double in size within the next 24 months. The appointment of the Head of Legal is seen as central to achieving this ambition.

Reporting to the CFO the responsibilities include the provision of sound commercial based legal advice to the executive team. The successful candidate will act as a key contact on all commercial negotiations. You will advise on contracts relating to technology supply, component and service providers, site development, and leases for renewable energy projects in addition to ad-hoc legal advice, company secretarial and regulatory matters. You will draw upon external expertise when required.

On a personal note you must be an ambitious, personable and committed professional with exceptional attention to detail. As well as being very comfortable dealing with routine legal matters, you must demonstrate ability to operate at executive level and not only advise on the deals, but be an integral part in closing the deals.

Suitable applicants will have between 5 and 8 years PQE with relevant experience, ideally, but not exclusively in the renewables, technology or energy sectors.
