Some people feel career planning is for others. It's not, it's for you. You spend more than half your waking time at work and your fit with your job determines so many other things in your life. How you manage the job change process is key too. If you do not target your effort effectively, it can be very frustrating.

Before you start, make sure you have a prepared a great CV.  Having done that, don’t make the common mistake of sending a poor cover letter with it.    

We know that some people are more comfortable talking about their achievements and capabilities than others. Some get nervous about their performance at interview. It’s understandable, as a lot often rides on the outcome. Preparation is always the key to making a good impression, practicing answers to interview questions, knowing what to ask too, is important.

If your next position is a temporary role, there is a lot you can do, to ensure you get asked back to temp again. Many companies ring our temporary division and ask for a temp by name.

If you are accepting a permanent position, you may have to negotiate your salary and have questions about your employment contract, if we can help we will.
