EirGrid is the independent electricity Transmission System Operator (TSO) in Ireland and the Market Operator (MO) of the wholesale electricity trading system

EirGrid is an organisation that is in many ways breaking through barriers to ensure the effective strategic management of Ireland’s energy needs, including connecting the Irish Grid to the European Grid.
